Investigating the health benefits of blueberries

We are studying if blueberries could improve health, including risk factors for heart disease and diabetes
Recruitment has now closed for our research study. Thank you for your interest and support.
We are looking for 144 men and postmenopausal women from the local area who are:
- 50 to 75 years old
- non-smokers (having never smoked or having ceased at least 6 months ago)
- with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of at least 25 kg/m2 (calculate your BMI here).

Travel expenses up to a 50 mile round-trip will be reimbursed for each visit to the UEA.
Investigating
If blueberries can improve markers of health, including the function of blood vessels, lungs and the brain, and levels of blood sugar and fats
